During May, Cesco’s Chairman of the Board, Leopoldo Reyes, met in Paris with Isabelle Ramdoo, Senior Associate and Development Economist of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals, and Sustainable Development (IGF), formed by 72 countries. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange collaboration ideas between both organizations. In this context, Cesco will participate in a workshop in Paris this month, regarding the disruptions caused by the technological changes in the mining sector, entitled “New Tech, New Deal: Re-envisioning shared value for the mine of the future”.

Cesco’s Chairman also met with Riel Miller, head of the Division of Futures Literacy of UNESCO, who was the keynote speaker of the latest Cesco Dinner Santiago 2019. They agreed to explore different collaborative activities between both parties.
