Patrick Cussen Mackenna

Chairman of CESCO's Board of Directors and temporary Executive Director

Patrick Cussen Mackenna is a Civil Engineer with a Master of Economis in Universidad de Chile. During the last 43 years, he has worked in several activities related to the marketing of copper worldwide.

From 1972 to 1985, Mr. Cussen worked in the Sales Management division of Codelco, Chilean state-owned company. From 1979 to 1981 he acted as the managing director of Chile Copper Ltd., subsidiary of Codelco in London.

Between 1986 and 1989, he was the Sales Vicepresident of Mantos Blancos, subsidiary of Anglo American in Chile. From 1990, Mr. Cussen has been the Chairman of Celta Consultores Ltda., a service company to the Latin American mining industry.

He was Executive Director of the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (Cesco) until 2006. Currently he is Cesco’s Chairman of the Board and temporary Executive Director.
