Patrick Cussen

Chairman  of CESCO's Board of Directors


Patrick Cussen Mackenna is a Civil Engineer with a master’s degree in Economy in Universidad de Chile. During the last 37 years, he has  worked in several activities related to the marketing of copper worldwide.

From 1972 to 1985, Mr. Cussen was sub manager in the sales division of Codelco, Chilean state-owned company. From 1979 to 1981 he acted as the managing director of Chile Copper Ltd., English subsidiary of Codelco.






Between 1986 and 1989,  Patrick Cussen was the sales vicepresident of Mantos Blancos, subsidiary of Anglo American in Chile. From 1990, Mr. Cussen has been the Chairman of Celta, a service company to the Latin American mining industry.

Patrick Cussen was executive director of the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (Cesco) until 2006. From 2007 to the current date, Mr. Cussen has been the president of Cesco’s board.
