Silvio Girardi
Civil Engineer (Universidad de Chile) and M.Sc (Imperial College). Senior executive in the Chilean mining industry, with vast international experience in strategic, organizational and management design in the mining business, from the early stages of exploration through to the management of mega-projects. Mr. Girardi for more than a decade worked as a professor in the department of mines in the Universidad de Chile, where he achieved the title of associate professor. During his professional career, he has held, among other posts, the position of consultant for Phelps Dodge, President of Cesco, General Manager of Agesa, Mining Manager for Enami, and Corporative Vice-president for several areas of Codelco. He is a principal partner of AGESA and its director-manager, and a member of CESCO's Board of Directors.
