CESCO-CRU Annual Scholarships Program
The Center for Copper and Mining Studies (CESCO) and the London-based consulting company CRU have created a scholarship for mining professionals in the areas of economics and management.
During the month of February each year, young Latin American professionals working in the mining sector have the opportunity to share professional experience with leading analysts CRU prestigious institutions in London, England and Atlantic Copper, in Madrid, Spain, and visited the units of major companies and organizations linked to copper, as the London Metal Exchange and the head offices of mining companies.
Application requirements
- Cover Letter in English and no more than 400 words.
- At least two years of experience in economy or management fields related to mining
- Under the age of 40
- A letter in support of the applicant by the company or organization in which the candidate works
- Letter of recomendation from a professional in the mining sector (not from the same company or organization in which the candidate works)
- Curriculum Vitae in spanish and english
- Proficiency in English (an interview in english will be required)
- Ability to conduct a research work in English. The research work must be delivered to CRU by the end of the stay in Europe.
