CESCO Week
Next CESCO Dinner 2011:
Wednesday April 6th
CESCO Week
The Cesco Week has become the foremost venue of Latin American mining and, with the Annual Dinner of the London Metals Exchange, is one of the two most important forums of the mining industry.
CESCO Week gained strenght with the conferences held during this week. The International Exploration Forum in its third edition, will be presented exclusively for this occasion, the World Exploration Trends report (translated into Spanish) with special emphasis given to Latin American issues and activities. This conference is giving the real importance to the exploration activity and creates awareness about the necessary changes in this activity.
The CRU in these last years has created high level events, favoring the discussion of ideas. Last year, the World Copper Conference organized by CRU endorsed by CESCO was particularly relevant: the financial crisis created a feeling of uncertainty in the industry, and this conference gave the space to discuss and present different opinions about the world situation, generating a sense of more tranquility.
The CESCO Week will finish with the CESCO Annual Dinner, where the main speaker will be Jean Paul Luksic, Antofagasta P.L.C.’s Chairman. The CESCO Dinner has become a meeting place for other activities organized by both the private and public sectors, during what is known as the “CESCO Week”.CESCO has organized its Annual Dinner since 1997. The success of the CESCO Dinner, which draws over a thousand participants, is solid proof of the importance of this annual event and the interest it generates across the globe. Its success also indicates the relevant role that Chile has won among the mining nations of the world.
The CESCO Week gives the necessary space to make valuable contacts and the impulse for venture, business and negotiations.
