Cesco announces new dates for the 25th version of Cesco Week Santiago 2022, which will be held in person

The World Copper Conference, organized by CRU, will also be held during Cesco week.

Due to the progress of the vaccination process against the coronavirus in the world, and the new sanitary measures adopted by the Chilean authorities to control the pandemic -and which have allowed the opening of borders-, the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (Cesco) has announced that the 25th version of Cesco Week Santiago will be held in person, between March 28 and 30.

During Cesco Week, the World Copper Conference, organized by CRU, will be held on March 29-30, bringing together the main players in the copper industry to discuss and present the latest advances and trends in the sector in terms of sustainability, technology and market, among others.

Alejandra Wood, executive director of Cesco, pointed out that “we have waited two years to be able to bring together the protagonists of the copper industry in Santiago, as we have done for decades. We know that Covid 19 is changing habits, but we also know that face-to-face meetings are irreplaceable, especially at a time when we are living through an unprecedented change of era.

Both Cesco and CRU will soon make public their activity agendas on their websites.
